Our Commitment
Event Connective is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.
Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML structure for screen reader compatibility
- Keyboard navigation support throughout the application
- Sufficient color contrast ratios for text and interactive elements
- Alt text for all meaningful images
- Form labels and error messages for assistive technologies
- Responsive design that works across devices and screen sizes
- Focus indicators for interactive elements
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may have limitations:
- Portfolio lightbox image viewer may have limited keyboard navigation in some browsers
- Some third-party integrations (Stripe payment forms) follow their own accessibility standards
- User-uploaded content (portfolio images, review text) may not always include descriptive alt text
